Arzach
This illustration was done for a gallery show to honor the comic and art publication, Heavy Metal Magazine. Though this was technically a fine art show I did the piece as if it were to be published as a magazine cover leaving room at the top for a title banner. The subject, “Arzach” was a character created by French comic artist Jean “Mobius” Giraud, and who appeared in many times in stories published in Heavy Metal over the span of the magazine’s run.
