This was the concept art for the first of four playable characters from Res Nova’s card game “Dungeon Slayers”. The priestess in the original promo piece was a caucasian woman but the developer wanted to make the game more inclusive so we switched her to this beautiful specimen. Also, as this was all just concept pieces I tried to put as many tongue in cheek references as I could to amuse the masses. Her mace is very much inspired by Man at Arm’s club from “He-Man and the Masters of the Universe”.
