Comics

As I got more comfortable with creating these comics and with the characters in general the stories got longer. Instead of sticking to a standard comic page format I ended up opting for a web comic style where the page is as tall as you want it to be and the reader continually scrolls down to keep the story moving forward.

In this comic Friday (in white) and Imphead (in yellow) are vexed by an actual character from the game, Artemis. In the game you, as a player, are contacted and eventually discover the fate of the stranded pilot but here our intrepid heroes clearly have other plans.

I would also like to point out this is the first time I employed an easter egg that wasn’t specifically No Man’s Sky related. The radio that Artemis has cobbled together in the last panel is the same one that E.T. used to contact his cohorts in the movie, “E.T. the Extra Terrestrial”.
