Game Developers, as a rule, try to reuse assets in their games as much as possible. It saves memory space and man hours. Problem is as a player you sometimes encounter items that may LOOK like one this but are entire something else.

Such is the case with “Humming Sacs”. If you harvest a humming sac you’re rewarded with a valuable pearl that you can then turn around and sell at the space station for credits. However, there’s another item in the game called a “Whispering Egg” which uses the exact same model asset as a Humming Sac, that if you try and harvest, instead of the pearl you get from the former, you instead get a horde of angry, acid-spitting aliens chasing you down.
